The Mesa Dress table was born from a collaboration between architect Tueilon Design Studio and Samba Design. Its concept stems from the idea of movement: although made of solid wood, the piece was designed to convey lightness, fluidity, and smoothness in its lines.
The inspiration came from the Dancing Towers in Prague, designed by Frank Gehry. Just as the buildings seem to dance, the table suggests a dress in motion, undulating as if following an invisible choreography. This architectural gesture was translated into furniture, transforming weight into delicacy.
Each unit is unique because its production involves marquetry of different woods, which are carefully chosen and joined. The final result depends on the natural variations of the raw material and the position in which each piece fits, making no two Dress tables alike. It is a creation that combines nature and craftsmanship, in a process developed collaboratively between designer and carpentry.
