The Pearls Chair, in its white edition, emerges not merely as a variation, but as a distinct chapter within the life of the piece itself.
This micro edition comprises a limited series of 15 chairs, produced within the same moment in time, material, and gesture. Each piece carries the continuity of a process that can never be repeated in exactly the same way. The choice of white is not intended as neutrality, but as a shift in perspective — a new reading of the form that brings light, surface, and presence into sharper yet quieter focus.
It is a pause within the timeline of the piece.
By establishing a defined edition, the chair moves away from the continuous logic of the catalog and approaches the notion of a series: a closed, numbered collection in which each chair exists in relation to the others, becoming part of a singular and unrepeatable whole.
Though they share the same origin and intention, no two pieces are identical. Subtle variations in the wood, finish, and handcrafting process inscribe a unique character into each chair, allowing every unit to exist as an individual object within the edition.
Once the micro edition is completed, this version will come to an end—not as a limitation, but as a deliberate choice: to preserve the exclusivity of the series and maintain the integrity of the relationship between time, process, and material that gave rise to each piece.
